WHAT IS CALISCO?
Inspired by pisco’s rich history on the Pacific Coast, from the Gold Rush through Prohibition, we proudly present the rebirth of this timeless libation and the finest distilled expression of California grapes, called Calisco.  We've curated a unique selection of grape varietals, distilled and blended them into a new premium grape spirit. Paying homage to the finest piscos of South America, Calisco fully embodies the new world terroir of California. It’s our mission to bring to the world a clean and sustainable spirit with the heart and soul of California.
Is Calisco a Brandy or a Pisco?
While defined as a Brandy, Calisco is intentionally blended for mixability and the options are only limited by your imagination. It notably raises the crushable factor of Pisco classics like the Sour and the Punch, while partnering wonderfully as a split base with other spirits - agave and rum in particular. It stands up brilliantly on its own, neat, over rocks or in a martini. At 38% ABV, it remains soft and slides effortlessly into the glass with your favorite mixer.
What does calisco taste like?
Sophisticated, yet playful, clear brandy. Aromas reveal floral and herbaceous notes of jasmine and honeysuckle with satsuma mandarin, bergamot, green apple and asian pear.  Soft, yet full bodied with a round mouthfeel that enriches the complex palate of sea brine, cucumber and honeydew melon, lemon verbena and eucalyptus which evolves into a rich finish of blueberry, lavender and chocolate, wrapped in subtle spice notes of Ceylon cinnamon bark and white pepper.
What can I mix with Calisco?
Calisco was designed and blended to be the most flexible spirit for mixing in cocktails. Perfect for cocktails that call for brandy or pisco, it can also replace tequila, rum, gin, vodka, or sparkling wines in many cocktails. Spirit of California

Distilled from the finest California wines and produced in the style of Gold Rush era clear brandy, Calisco showcases the brighter side of grape brandy with notes of citrus, floral, green fruits, and melons, alongside bergamot, cinnamon and white pepper. Calisco is rested in steel tanks for a minimum of 2 years, preserving the original characteristics of the grape varietals in our blend, resulting in a more refined and complex final product.

It notably enhances the crushability factor of your favorite classic cocktails. When used as a split base with other clear spirits, particularly agave and cane spirits, it completely raises the bar.
